Coordinate an Event

Many individuals, organizations, and businesses host events or food/fund drives to benefit the Hays County Food Bank. To help with the planning and execution of these events, we have put together a Coordinator’s Kit.

In order to ensure the success and mutual satisfaction of such events, we ask that you complete the Event Registration Form and return it to the food bank at least two weeks before your event. Due to limited staff and resources, registered events will be given priority in terms of promotion and the use of equipment or other materials. Only registered events that are open to the public will be listed on www.HaysFoodBank.org and associated pages. Online event registration will be available soon.

Coordinator’s Kit

Please note that we prefer groups and individuals to drop off donations gathered during an event or a food/fund drive. We are not always available to do pick-ups, and we believe it is beneficial for people to see our building and our operation to better understand how we fight hunger in Hays County.  We request that anything less than 400 pounds be delivered to our warehouse.
