Coordinate a Fundraiser or Food Drive

Many individuals, organizations, and businesses host events or food/fund drives to benefit the Hays County Food Bank. To help with the planning and execution of these events, we have put together a Food Drive ToolKit.

In order to ensure the success and mutual satisfaction of such events, you may launch your own fundraising campaign. Due to limited staff and resources, registered events will be given priority in terms of promotion and the use of equipment or other materials.

*Please read through the Food Drive Toolkit as it has FAQs, our process, tips, guidelines, and other useful items.

Please note that we prefer groups and individuals to drop off donations gathered during an event or a food/fund drive. We are not always available to do pick-ups, and we believe it is beneficial for people to see our building and our operation to better understand how we fight hunger in Hays County.  We request that anything less than 500 pounds be delivered to our warehouse.

*Food Drop Off Times:

Monday-Thursday- 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Friday- 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
