Got plans for the Friday after Valentine’s Day? Would you enjoy an afternoon filled with free prizes, friendly competition, and a wonderful feeling of giving back to your community? If you answered yes to these questions, then we have a solution for you! Register now for the Hunger STRIKE 2014 and partake in a great afternoon of fun.
The Hunger STRIKE is a fun-filled endeavor to raise awareness about how Hays County businesses and civic groups can help feed neighbors struggling to live within their limited means. This will be the third annual Hunger STRIKE, and each year prior has been an absolute blast. Help us make this year the best one ever!
The Hunger STRIKE 2014 will be on February 21st. A check-in time for teams’ starts at 1:30 p.m. and the tournaments begins at 2:00 p.m. Play is estimated to end around 5:00 p.m. and we will announce the winners at this time. Door prizes will be given out throughout the competition. If any of this peaks your interest and you want to help out, there are three different ways to do this:
- Form a 5-person team (This can be people you work with, group you belong to, just friends, etc.)
- Donate gift certificates, or something else of value that participants would love to win
- Donate food and dessert items for participants to enjoy at the event

You may also fill out form and fax to (512) 392-5286. The deadline for team registration is January 31st.

- 3 games of bowling plus a shoe rental
- 2 beverage tickets and 1 door prize ticket
So I urge you to talk to your coworkers, your family, your friends, or even your business rivals and form a team today. You may even choose to get more competitive and challenge your lane neighbors. If you have a certain team in mind you wish to battle, we will do our best to get you next to each other.
