Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement of individuals working to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the Super Bowl. In the weeks leading up to the big game, individuals and groups take up collections, asking for one dollar or one item of food for people in need. They give 100% of their donation directly to the local hunger-relief charity of their choice.
We would love to be your charity of choice this year! Don't forget to promote your drive through social media! Be sure to tag @haysfoodbank and @souperbowlofcaring.

#TackleHunger at your local H-E-B

H-E-B is a big supporter of tackling hunger locally. From now until February 3rd (Super Bowl), shoppers can purchase a bag of food (tuna, green beans, corn, peanut butter, and spaghetti) or add a donation amount through tear-out tabs at the counter to participate in this campaign. Donations made at H-E-B stores in San Marcos will be given to Hays County Food Bank. Last year, shoppers donated nearly 10,000 pounds of food and $30,000 to help tackle hunger in Hays County.
