Primary Duties: Driving vans to pick up food from H-E-Bs in San Marcos (1&2), Kyle, and Buda. Vans pick up food everyday in the morning, even on weekends. Drivers will also drive vans to and from distributions and help load/unload all food items. Other duties include interacting with clients and handing food out to clients. Those interested must be 25 or older and have a clean driving record. Bring your social security card and valid driver’s license when you come to volunteer orientation.
Primary Duties: Assisting the operations team in picking up food from local H-E-B stores, weighing and sorting food, checking for signs of contamination or damaged goods, creating food boxes or bags for pick-up, loading and unloading vans. Other duties include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, taking out trash and recycling, and general clean up of work areas.
Primary Duties: Loading and unloading vans, setting up food for distribution to clients, interacting with clients, and handing food out to clients.
Front Office / Client Services
Primary Duties: Assisting office staff in answering phones, assisting clients, folding brochures and assembling promotional materials, entering data into spreadsheets or databases, making copies, and other miscellaneous clerical duties. Front office volunteers require an additional training session after the regular volunteer orientation.

Board of Directors
Primary Duties: Serve on governing board of 501(c)(3) corporation which requires, among other things, attendance at monthly Board meetings, committee work, personal monetary donation to Food Bank, fundraising/food drives, volunteering at Food Bank and special events.
