YEAH (Youth Engaged Against Hunger) is a program designated to accommodate groups of students and adolescents in volunteering and serving the community. We reserve pallets of food for scheduled visits to better demonstrate how we operate and feed those in need.
Volunteers have the opportunity to inspect, sort, weigh and shelve donations among other duties. We understand many groups are not available during our normal 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. week day business hours, so we do our best to accommodate various needs.
All youth volunteers under 18 must have a Volunteer Liability Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers under 14 must be actively supervised by an adult/parent to participate. For youth groups, we require 1 adult chaperone per 5 youth.
