It provides services to adults with limited mastery of basic educational skills; adults who do not have a secondary school diploma; or who are unable to speak, read or write the English language. Day and evening classes are available in many communities. Computer literacy classes are offered intermittently at designated sites.
Restrictions: All Adult Education students must be at least 19 years or older to enroll unless: They are 17 or 18 years old and have the written permission of their parents or guardian as well as proof of their official withdrawal from school. They are 16 years old and have been ordered to attend HSE (GED) classes by a court of law.
