Third-party fundraisers help keep the food bank going. As much as we would love to plan and host many events, our small staff does not have the capacity or resources to do so. Your help can really make a difference!

If you would like help promoting your event, please do not hesitate to ask! Contact our Development & Special Events Coordinator at (512) 392-8300 x230 with any questions.

Check out our Toolkit for more information.

Please register your food drive so we know about it! It helps us know when to expect your drive to be delivered so we have volunteers and space available for your donation.

Fundraiser Ideas

Restaurant or Merchant Profit Share:

  • Work with a local business to plan a date and time when a percntage of sales profits will be donated to our cause.

Fun Run:

  • Organize a walk or run and have participants find sponsors who will donate a certain amount of money for every unit (ex: 100 m, 1 km, 1 mile) they travel.

Wine Tastings:

  • Have a local business donate wine and snacks and ask attendees to pay a fee to attend.

Music Festivals:

  • Invite musicians from the community to donate their time and talen to the food bank. Charge a fee for spectators to come watch.

  • Pitch in by creating fun games for people to play. Sell tickets to play the games and donate the proceeds to help end hunger in this community.

Birthday Parties:

  • Ask that the guests at your next party bring a donation to the food bank instead of a gift.

Pancake Breakfasts:

  • Get some of your best friends together for a morning (or evening) of fun. Cook up some pancakes and sell plates to your neighborhood. Feel great knowing that whatever profits you make will help families in need find their next meal.

Car Wash:

  • Find a group that wants a good workout and get your buckets and sponges together. Offer to get cars squeaky clean for the food bank.
