Food Rescue

The majority of the food we distribute is rescued and donated food. So how do we get it? Where does the food come from? It comes from our wonderful community!

We work with our wonderful partners to ensure that good food doesn't end up in landfills. We want to do our part to ensure that our community is fed and we don't contribute to the food waste problem.

Food Distribution

When you think about what food banks do, food assistance is what usually comes to mind. Our Food Distribution Programs is the largest section of our organization.

These programs are how we get food to families in need. Not only do we hand out food directly to our clients, but we also partner with many organizations to extend our reach.

Nutrition Education

Food is fuel for the body, and it truly matters what foods we eat. Certain types of foods can lead to health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, and even obesity. Our nutrition team works hard to build fun lessons to educate individuals on how important good food is for a healthy lifestyle. We even have tailored classes for children and seniors. If you would like more information on a class, please contact our Programs Manager.

Resource Assistance

Our main priority is food assistance, but we also want to help people find other resources that they may need. We can help with federal assistance applications and match individuals with organizations who can fulfill other needs.
